The 12v sockets on the front dash and rear seat passenger area of my 2007 XC90 185 dont work, although the 12v outlet in the cargo area is ok, I have checked fuse3 on the cargo area fuse board which my handbook states is for accessories and its ok. Anyone any idea what could be wrong?
The wiring harness is at the bottom of the headlight enclosure. A quarter cup of water inside the enclosure is enough to short the bottom of the harness and cause low beam failure. Emptying the water and drying off both ends of the harness (QTips and bits of paper towel) are enough to bring the low beam back.

First check for 12v on both sides of fuse , if you have power likely your chump mechanic failed to connect or damaged a wire. You can Take it back to the guy who messed it up , pay someone else to fix , fix it yourself or live without it. Thanks for the message.
